Intermediate 103: Ethical Wildlife Photography (SFC-eligible)

This course provides participants with an intimate insight into animal and wildlife photography. It will cover the skills, knowledge and ethics required for participants to gain a better understanding on the creation of wildlife images.

A veteran wildlife photographer who has covered assignments for Animal Planet and zoos around the world, Julian W. will be at hand to guide the participants along. He will share his vast knowledge in this area, and provide valuable tips on how to get that winning wildlife picture. 

Pre-requisites

Students are expected to have completed our Basic Photography course or have good knowledge of the following:-

  • Functionalities of your personal DSLR or any interchangeable lens camera system
  • Photography foundation (i.e. you know the difference between f/2 and f/22, why you would choose one over the other and knowing when shots turn out all blurry, you can troubleshoot to shoot again to get it sharp)
  • Comfortable working/shooting with various functionalities of your camera

  1. Send an Email to cia@canon.com.sg, with subject titled “SkillsFuture Course”.

    Include these details in your email to us:

    • Full name as per NRIC
    • Course Name
    • Intake
    • Camera Model
    • Mobile No

    Step 2: Our system will generate a Confirmation and send it via Email to you upon successful registration.

    Step 3: Either screen print or save the Confirmation Email from us into a PDF and proceed to skillsfuture.sg/credit to login with your Singpass.

    Step 4: Register your Profile information with SkillsFuture and proceed with the claim process. Search for “Canon Singapore” in the search field on SFC webpage and pick the course that you wish to claim for. Attached the Confirmation Email PDF and submit your claim.

    Step 5: Please email us the SFC approved notification upon receiving the same day or not later than 3 days before commencing the Course for our reference and record.

    Please take note of the following:

  1. Notwithstanding of the above, your course registration is subject to SkillsFuture’s approval on your SFC Application.
  2. Inoccurrence of any of the following events, you will be required to make full or partial payment prior to attending the Course:-
    • The SFC Application is rejected or cancelled by SkillsFuture as at the commencement date of the Course; or
    • The approved SFC is lesser than the course fee as at the commencement date of the Course.
